Refunds/Returns and Exchanges
The following return/exchange policy applies to regular, low volume, non-special-order purchases of gift baskets or individual items in-store or online:
Due to health and safety reasons we cannot accept returns or provide refunds or exchanges for foods, condiments, beverages, or topical cosmetic/bath items, even if the items appear to be unopened, except if proven defective or damaged in shipment.
Wrap charges and special-order purchases are nonrefundable under any circumstance.
Other items can be returned with a receipt within 14 days of purchase or receipt by mail (items shipped outside the Hingham area can be returned to us for refund or exchange per this policy, but at the present time return shipping is at the shipper's expense except in the case of product defect or damage).
In the event of a damaged gift shipment, recipients will be instructed to contact the sender/gift-giver who will contact us to report the damage. Recipients will be asked to hang onto all packaging and gift items until UPS has investigated the incident. In the meantime, an exchange/new shipment will be issued for damaged items. Refunds will only be given in the event that the damaged items are no longer in stock and there is no appropriate substitute.
Cancellations
For regular, low volume (fewer than 6), non-special-order purchases of gift baskets in-store or online... these orders can be cancelled and refunded as long as they haven't left our facility. Wrap/design charges are non-refundable and an $8 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund per item/basket.
High-volume (more than 5 gift baskets ordered at once) no-rush gift basket orders can be cancelled or changed within 48 hours of placing the order; otherwise, no cancellations, refunds or exchanges are accepted on high-volume orders.
Special orders (when merchandise we don't usually carry is ordered) cannot be cancelled once the orders are placed with the manufacturer or distributor, and no refunds or exchanges are permitted for special orders.
